Managing your subscription
Samson subscriptions are billed through the app store you purchased from, and you manage them there:
On iPhone / iPad
- Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions.
- Select Samson to change your plan or cancel.
- Canceling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the current period.
On Android
- Open the Google Play Store → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select Samson to change your plan or cancel.
Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies. If you need a hand, email us and we'll point you in the right direction.
Restoring a purchase
If you reinstalled the App or switched to a new device on the same store account, open the App's paywall or settings and choose Restore Purchases to re-activate your subscription.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. Samson has no login. Your data is stored on your device and, if you turn on iCloud, in your own private iCloud.
Will I lose my data if I get a new phone?
If iCloud sync is enabled and you sign in with the same Apple ID on your new device, your data syncs automatically. We recommend keeping iCloud on as a backup.
Why does Samson ask for location, Bluetooth, or Health access?
Location records GPS cardio workouts, Bluetooth connects heart-rate monitors, and Apple Health lets the App read heart rate and save completed workouts. Each permission is optional and only requested when you use that feature. See our Privacy Policy for details.
The AI Coach gave me an odd suggestion.
AI-generated routines and answers are suggestions and can be imperfect — apply your own judgment, and consult a professional for medical or health concerns. Tell us what happened and we'll keep improving it.
